This is the only grocery store within walking distance of us and I am so grateful it is. It's always clean, fast checkout and we love the fried chicken from the deli as a special treat for dinner some days.
I love Smith’s. They do a great job and offer their balance of products with savings. Cashiers (like Zack, who has repeatedly inspired this review) and pretty much all their employees and managers are top notch. I really appreciate their hiring good people with some disabilities from the community, in such a lovely way.
Shelly deserves a 5 star review! We checked out and in the car, we checked our receipt and noticed a mistake causing us to pay lots more than we intended. We took it in to Shelly, and at 11:30 PM, she took care of us with such a bright attitude and no questions asked. The world needs more people like Shelly who do their job well and do it happily. We left Smith’s smiling tonight, not just because the mistake was made right and we saved money, but because we had a great interaction with a kind human being!
The bakery did an amazing job on my sons cake!!! I went to 3 Walmarts and another Smiths who all had broken printers so they couldn’t print the picture I had on to the cake. I finally called and this Smiths said they do offer it and advised me to place my order online. I did and the next day I got a call that their photo printer for cakes was broken. The decorator said she will do her best to make it herself and keep it Sea Animal themed and she did AMAZING. I was certain it was going to just be beach waves but wow. This was way better than the picture because it was done with so much love and care and it was a real creation. The cake tasted absolutely amazing as well but whoever decorated this, I’ll be back for every kid, every year moving forward.
I ordered pick up and it was amazing. 10x better than Walmart. Also their associate Serena was very personable and kind. I think she deserves a raise. She was put together and very neatly dressed. She reminded me why I like shopping at smiths.
Among the grocery stores in Provo, it is my first choice. With my Smith's Rewards card, I can get competitive price on many items. It is busy most of the time, but friendly personnel who make it a great experience anyhow. I particularly like the produce area, and I got a photo to show how nicely they stack everything.
